From humble beginnings as a dog shop at Bowhouse (now closed), Number 1 (Australia) was born in 2013 as an importer/distributor of superior natural consumable pet products and has since grown from a small niche player to an 8-digit dollar business, with a focus on full-service distribution based around animal and pet lovers.
The team at Number 1 are charged with staying at the forefront of brand building, staff development, service standards, influence and trust development, and innovation. Product Demonstrators - VIC, NSW, QLD, WA
We are seeking services to be provided from contractors for Product Demonstrations in stores and at events in:

Victoria, all regions

NSW, Sydney, North Coast and South Coast

Services Required:
The services we require as a Product Demonstrator will primarily be on weekends, and you will be:
-
Educating consumers, retailers, and influencers on pet nutrition and the features and benefits of all of our brands

Promoting our products to consumers

Providing reports on your activities to management
-
Attending events to promote our brands and support retailers
Essential Criteria
-
Current license and motor vehicle
-
Current ABN and ability to invoice for services

Availability on weekends
-
Exceptional communication skills

Ability to work autonomously

Understanding of pet nutrition
Desirable:

Experience in the pet and animal industry

Warehouse Operative - NSW Distribution Team

The Role:
Due to consistent growth, we currently have one Warehouse position available at our South Nowra DC, ideally fulltime (Monday-Friday) with an immediate start for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:

Picking and packing large customer orders

Restocking shelves
-
Unloading incoming containers and deliveries
-
Processing of orders through our online ERP system

Printing of shipping labels through our freight system

Packing consumer sample packs
Essential Criteria:
-
Previous experience in a Warehouse environment

Demonstrated ability of using technology
-
Demonstrated team building skills
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-
Availability during the week, between the hours of 7am – 5pm
Desirable Criteria:

Current NSW forklift license
-
Experience in a Safety role
-
Use of RFSmart Scanner system

Reporting & Data Analyst
The Role:
The position will ideally be based in our office in Boronia VIC, but you will have regular contact with our DC in Nowra and Sales Team based across Australia.
The successful candidate will be expected to be within easy travelling distance of our office and be entitled to live and work in Australia.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Work closely with our Head of Operations, Supply Chain Manager and Finance Manager to optimise our reporting processes and solutions

Assist in the creation of tracking metrics via reports and weighted scorecards
-
Preparation of budget tracking reports that allow detailed analysis for our sales, finance, and marketing teams
-
Collate data and prepare reports for end of month rebate claims
-
Creation of dashboard reporting for managers and our sales team in our NetSuite system
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks and willingness to learn new areas of expertise
-
Cost benefit analysis of key opportunities to aid decision making for future growth
-
Assist our training team in upskilling the wider teams reporting, data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills
-
Work closely with all stakeholders in the business to create, automate and constantly improve solutions for reporting and overall knowledge building Position Advertisement
Skills & Experience:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential

Suitable qualifications in Computer Science, IT and/or Business / Commercial Management

Proven analytical and management skills

Excellent decision-making abilities

High level attention to detail

Ability to find opportunities and challenges through interpreting reporting and analysis

Effective communication with highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information concisely and effectively to our management and sales team

Extensive experience and knowledge of reporting and analysis from ERP systems, databases. Applicant with experience with Netsuite will be highly regarded

Warehouse Storeman - VIC

The Role:
We’re looking for someone who will help our small yet growing site, providing ample support to our Warehouse and initially our administrative team. Working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday at our Boronia office & warehouse, you will work towards achieving maximum support service standards, and will be responsible for but not limited to:

Assisting with audits / stock takes when required

Ensuring Safety standards and procedures are maintained and followed at all times

Focus on replicating all operations from our DC in NSW

Data entry and general assistance duties including cleaning, maintenance and stock ordering

Office duties including cleaning, maintenance, stock ordering

Processing Account and Consumer orders as a backup function
Skills & Experience:

Forklift license and experience is essential

Minimum 1+ year in a Warehouse environment

Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to work on weekends occasionally

Computer literacy
