Following a period of strong, sustained growth, we recently opened our WA operations in Bayswater, and are looking to appoint new staff there to work with our national team to spearhead our ongoing growth.
Located at our new HQ in Bayswater, this position is a unique opportunity for a self-starter who has multi-faceted industry experience, with the opportunity to grow. The position will be ideally full-time and includes the opportunity for flexible working hours for parents with children in school.
The role will involve face to face visits with clients and prospects across both metro and regional Western Australia and the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following functions:
Full accountability for communicating with and maintaining retail accounts
Develop awareness of the company, its brands and products
Building collaborative long-lasting relationships with our independent accounts
Training and educating staff members from our customer/retail accounts
Business development, landing prospects and chasing qualified leads
Maximising on road efficiencies via thorough run planning and preparation
Establishing Call and Visit Cycles for all customers
Networking with industry stakeholders
Record keeping of all customer interactions, uploading regularly into our CRM system, ensuring all communication is up to date
Taking customer orders in person, via the phone and email
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
Reliable motor vehicle and full licence
Confident driver with no issues being on the road full time
Ability to sell, negotiate and influence
Self-motivator that is driven by exceeding sales expectations
Strong organisation and time management skills
Intermediate IT skills essential
Ability to travel to both rural and interstate destinations any 1 week per month
Occasional availability for events (weekends)
Passion for pets and/or experience in the Pet industry highly regarded
Background in Nursing, Animal Health or Human Nutrition is highly regarded
