The Role: We’re looking for an innovative, energetic and passionate online marketer to be based in our Boronia VIC office, who understands B2C e-Commerce solutions and strategy. You will have a track record of success, strong management skills, analytical abilities and possess a hunger to grow awareness, interest, brand loyalty, and sales across our online platforms. As the Digital Marketing Officer you will be accountable for, among other things, the following:
Increasing traffic to our B2C retail site and raising brand awareness, interest and trial of the products we distribute
Prepare, load and launch new product lines to our online retail partners
Ensure product copy, images and content is accurately represented and optimised
Manage set up and execution of online promotional activity
Review and edit website pages, including brand pages, store locator pages, and promotional landing pages
Constantly monitor online assets to identify website and updates to keep digital content up-to-date and compelling
6 months’ minimum, and ideally 18 months' recent experience in setting up a e-commerce store, and creating and managing engaging content and promotions
Demonstrable measurable track record of creating engagement and recruiting new consumers
Competence in e-Commerce website administration and maintenance
Shopify (and/or possibly BigCommerce or similar), Content Management Systems, Website Reporting
Google Analytics and CRM programs
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
In-depth knowledge of online advertising, opportunities and strategies
Excellent English-language writing and communication skills
Script-writing and/or editing of photo/video/interactive content
Understanding of, or interest in, pet nutrition and the pet industry
